About 100 Ultramarathon | Glamis Castle to Stirling Castle
This 100-mile trail ultramarathon traverses some of Scotland's most remote terrain, connecting Glamis Castle in Angus to Stirling Castle over 48 hours. The point-to-point route skirts the Cairngorms and surrounding hills, presenting the most challenging edition in the 100 Trilogy series with over 1,000 metres of additional elevation compared to earlier events.
Despite its demanding nature, the race welcomes runners and walkers of all levels with no qualifying times required. A 2.5mph completion pace is walker-friendly, and nine stocked pit stops provide support throughout, with hot food available at enhanced stops. Professional medical support is on hand across the entire event, with generous cut-offs from approximately 60 miles. Participants who complete all three Trilogy events—starting in Bamburgh in July and progressing through Edinburgh—earn the prestigious Trilogy Finisher buckle.
