About 3K on the Green August
The 3K on the Green returns to Glasgow for its August edition, welcoming runners of all abilities from seasoned club racers to those trying their first timed event. The flat, accurately measured course starts and finishes at the McLennan Arch on Glasgow Green, following an out-and-back route along the River Clyde that heads upstream before turning back towards the finish.
Taking place on 28 August 2026, this 3 kilometre road race offers a chance to pursue a personal best, gauge current fitness or simply enjoy a competitive run in the city centre. Every finisher receives an official time, and entry supports charitable causes as part of the monthly 3K on the Green series.
