About A Guided Run: The Burrator Skyline
The high moorland around Burrator Reservoir in West Devon provides the setting for this guided run on 20 September 2026. Runners will follow the skyline on a 12-mile trail route that gains over 2000 feet, moving across good paths, trails and open moorland with views across the reservoir and the surrounding tors and peaks.
This is presented as a slow adventure rather than a race, with stops built in for photography, local history and discussion of running on Dartmoor. The route starts from Sheepstor Cross, with parking available at the quarry carpark near the dam. Places are limited to 25 runners.
