About Aberfoyle Trail Run
Whether you're looking to introduce children to trail running or tackle a longer distance through stunning scenery, Aberfoyle Trail Run brings the community together on 29 August 2026. The event takes place around Aberfoyle in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, with two options: a 10 km trail route for adults and a 1 km junior run designed for primary school age children.
The 10 km course is signposted and marshalled, starting and finishing in Aberfoyle. Both distances are fully marked, marshalled and electronically timed, with results available as runners finish. The event is organised by Aberfoyle Primary School and Nursery Parent Council, with proceeds supporting the school. Registration takes place on the day at Aberfoyle Memorial Hall from 8am, with the 1k closing at 10am and the 10k at 10.45am.
