About Abersoch Coast Trail
Runners seeking dramatic coastal scenery will find plenty to enjoy in this September trail event on the Llŷn Peninsula. The Abersoch Coast Trail offers 10 km and 20 km races starting and finishing on Abersoch Beach, with routes following the Wales Coast Path past Cardigan Bay, St Tudwal's Islands and Porth Ceiriad. The longer distance continues to Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth).
The routes mix coastal trails, tracks and beach running across varied terrain. A junior 2 km beach race also takes place on the day. The event takes place on 19 September 2026 and is based at HM Coastguard in Abersoch.
