About Acorn Bank 10K
Eden Runners organises this 10K on the Acorn Bank National Trust estate near Temple Sowerby, where the race starts and finishes within the grounds on 13 September 2026. The accurately measured course follows quiet country lanes and tarmac footpaths across an undulating route that combines views of the Eden Valley with a genuine physical challenge.
With a field capped at 200 runners, the event maintains a friendly atmosphere while taking in some of Cumbria's most distinctive landscapes. Finishers receive a flapjack, and prizes span a wide range of age categories and team competitions. Part of each entry supports conservation work at Acorn Bank, and runners have the chance to explore the historic estate before or after racing.
