About ACORN South By Five - Linn Park
The South by Five series brings a 5km trail race to one of Glasgow's parks each week over a 12-week period, building on the legacy of The South Side Six. The Acorn South by Five event in Linn Park takes place on 15 November 2026, inviting runners to tackle the route as a standalone race or as part of the wider series. Those who complete 5 of the 6 races across the series earn the title of "Fiver".
Runners can enter individual events or commit to the full programme. The races support local sports development through the Acorn Trails Community Fund, while the series also partners with Give A Dog A Bone…and an animal a home, a charity helping people over 60 adopt rescue animals. An organised litter pick is planned around the time of the event.
