About Across Wales Walk
The Across Wales Walk has established itself as an annual fixture for long-distance walkers and runners tackling a 45 mile coast-to-coast crossing of Wales. Participants have an 18 hour time limit to complete the linear route, which starts and finishes at St George's CofE Academy in Clun, Shropshire on 5 September 2026.
The event is structured as a full weekend package. Accommodation is provided both before and after the crossing, with coach transport laid on to the start point and back to Clun afterwards. Refreshments are supplied along the trail route, and a presentation ceremony takes place at the weekend finish. Entrants receive maps, route descriptions and GPS files to aid navigation.
