About ACTI-SNACK Run Forest Run Series - Castlewellan
Castlewellan forms the final event in the Run Forest Run series, taking place at Castlewellan Forest Park on 27 February 2027. This trail race starts and finishes on grass near the lake, passing the lakeside castle with views toward the Mourne Mountains and a permanent maze.
Two measured distances are available. Chip timing is used throughout, and prizes go to top finishers by gender as well as series winners. Race packs and bibs are posted to participants beforehand, with a final race information email sent the week before the event.
