About AJ Bell Great Bristol Run
Bristol's streets come alive each May when thousands of runners tackle the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run. The event offers a choice of 10 km or half marathon distances on road routes that wind through the city centre, past Castle Park and some of Bristol's most recognisable landmarks. Starting and finishing at Millennium Square, the race appeals equally to those chasing personal bests and those running to support a favourite charity.
The event has built a strong following among local runners and visitors alike, with recent editions selling out in advance. Participants receive a finisher's pack including a bespoke medal and personalised run number, plus access to free training plans in the lead-up to 9 May 2027.
