About AJ Bell Great North 10k
The AJ Bell Great North 10K takes runners on a 10 km road route through Newcastle's city centre on 4 July 2027, starting and finishing on the Town Moor. The course passes some of Newcastle's most recognisable sights, including the iconic Tyne Bridge and other landmarks that define the cityscape.
The event features music and entertainment along the route, with a DJ set at the start and finish line. After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy the event village on the Town Moor. Finishers receive a bespoke finisher t-shirt and medal to mark their achievement.
