Two distances cater to different age groups at this family-focused Bristol event. Mini runners aged 3 to 8 complete a 1.5 km route, while juniors aged 9 to 15 take on 2.5 km, both on road terrain through the city centre. The races start and finish at College Green ahead of the main Great Bristol Run.
Mini entrants must be accompanied by a parent, with each child requiring a separate entry. Junior participants aged 9 and over can run independently, though adult support can be arranged if needed. The route uses closed roads and features on-course music, entertainment, and local spectators cheering runners on. Finishers receive a t-shirt and medal, with photo opportunities available throughout and an event village offering food and drinks afterwards.
