About AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run
Young runners aged 3 to 15 can take on their own challenge at the AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run, taking place in Glasgow's Senses Garden on 3 October 2026. The event caters to different age groups and abilities: the Toddler Dash and Mini race (ages 3–8) covers 1.6km with a parent alongside, while the Junior race (ages 9–15) spans 2.5km. A shorter 70-metre dash is also available for the youngest participants.
Whether running for fun, for a cause or to test themselves, young runners will receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal. The route takes place on closed roads with on-course music and entertainment, leading to a dedicated finish line experience. An event village with food, drinks and exhibitors follows the racing, offering families space to celebrate together.
