About Aldeburgh Olde Marine Regatta & Carnival 10K
This 10K race on 16 August 2026 is woven into the fabric of Aldeburgh's longest-running summer carnival, making it as much a celebration as a competitive run. The course departs from Moot Hall in the town centre and weaves through Aldeburgh and into neighbouring Thorpeness, mixing roads, paths and a short beach section before returning to the finish.
The mixed terrain route takes in the varied landscape of this Suffolk coastal area. The event is fully marshalled with clear signage throughout, and finishers receive medals. Prizes are awarded in senior and junior categories, with a separate junior race also held over the 10K distance on the same day.
