Allithwaite 8 takes place on 7 November 2026, offering 8 miles of trail running across fell and quiet roads on the edge of the Lake District. The course is well marked and marshalled, starting and finishing at Cockles at the Lantern in Allithwaite.
The race has built a reputation as a friendly, locally rooted event. A significant portion of proceeds support the local school, community centre and other community projects. This year marks the 10th edition, with a special commemorative item for participants.
