About Amport Trail Run
On 27 September 2026, Muddy Runners hosts the Amport Trail Run in support of Amport Cricket Club. The 10 km trail race takes runners through Hampshire countryside on undulating, hilly terrain featuring trail, tarmac, dirt and single track. The multi-terrain route includes hazards such as overhanging trees, mud, holes and ruts, with a single road crossing at the start and finish where marshals provide guidance. The course is marked with kilometre markers, tape, signs, flags and marshal support throughout.
Based at The Eagle Inn in Test Valley, the event caters to various abilities and ages. Children under 11 entering the 5 km distance must be accompanied by a responsible adult with their own entry. Canicross is permitted, subject to temperature restrictions and specific requirements including public liability insurance, appropriate harnesses and bungee leads.
Facilities at the finish include first aid cover, toilets and post-race refreshments for purchase. Water stations are available on course but runners should bring their own cup or bottle. Finishers receive medals and prizes. Parking is provided in the cricket club parking area as directed by marshals.
