About Anglesey Trail Half Marathon
On 1 November 2026, Anglesey Trail Half Marathon takes runners through Newborough Forest and onto Llanddwyn Island near Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. The 10 km trail course winds through woodland single-track paths and sandy beach sections, with views across the Menai Strait towards Snowdonia. These forest trails have previously hosted mountain and ultra-distance championships.
The event is organised by Always Aim High Events and offers waymarked courses with on-course marshals, energy stations and support vehicles. An event village provides food, shopping and bag drop facilities, with finishers receiving a bespoke memento. Race timing uses chip timing with live online results, and event-day services are available in both English and Welsh.
