About Angmering Bluebell Trail Run
Running through Angmering Park Estate during bluebell season, this trail event offers two options suited to different ambitions. The 10 km route winds through woodland on the Monarchs Way, while the 10 mile course extends onto private tracks at the foot of the South Downs, taking in The View and Windy Ridge before returning through the same bluebell woods. Both races share the first 6 km on clockwise woodland trails before splitting.
The 10 mile distance carries a cutoff at 6 km, with water stations at 3.8 and 5.8 miles. The 10 km route has a single water station at 6 km. The event, in its 23rd year, is based at The Worlds End Pub near Patching Pond, with parking available on nearby roads and in a field. Sussex Search and Rescue Team marshals the courses alongside the organiser's volunteers. Race numbers are issued on the day, and finishers receive a bespoke medal and complimentary photos.
