About Antonine Trail 10K
The inaugural Antonine Trail 10K takes runners through the landscape around Twechar in East Dunbartonshire on 1 November 2026. Starting and finishing on Main Street, the route climbs through Barrhill to the Antonine fort before crossing into Croy, where runners tackle Mount Cookie and Croy Hill with views towards the Kilsyth hills. The course then descends sharply to a road crossing and returns via trails through Creekie Wood, offering the undulating terrain characteristic of the area.
Race numbers and chip timing collection opens at 08:00 from Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre. Facilities including toilets, showers and changing areas are available on site. The event is SAL licensed and run under UKA rules, with results published on the organiser's website and partner platforms.
