An 84 km trail endurance event taking place on 3 October 2026, Apex Ultra Trials uses a looped format around King George's Parks in Greater London. Participants tackle a 3.5 km circuit repeatedly over a 12-hour window, with each loop set to a 30-minute schedule. Once a loop is finished, runners have time to recover and refuel before the next 30-minute window begins, allowing them to complete as many loops as possible up to a maximum of 24.
The event welcomes both solo runners and pairs, with paired entries seeing teammates alternate loops to share the physical demands. The emphasis is on steady pacing and energy management rather than racing, supported by on-site physios, therapists and medical assistance.
