About Auchterarder Running Festival Double Dare
A 19.3-mile challenge spread across two days, the Auchterarder Running Festival Double Dare pairs the festival's 10K and Half Marathon into a consecutive road running weekend. Runners tackle the 10K on Saturday before returning to the same course the following day for the Half Marathon, both starting and finishing at The Community School of Auchterarder.
The accurately measured road routes explore Perthshire's town and surrounding countryside. The 10K has a cut-off time of 1 hour 45 minutes, while the Half Marathon allows 3 hours 30 minutes. Both races are supported by marshals and water stations. Participants who complete both distances receive individual finisher rewards for each race, plus a Double Dare memento marking the back-to-back achievement.
