About AWT Ruislip - Backyard Ultra Series
AWT Ruislip is the opening race in the AWT Backyard Ultra Series, held at All Work Training in Kings College Road on 9 August 2026. The event follows the backyard ultra format, requiring runners to complete repeated 5 km laps starting on each hour. In this first instalment, participants tackle six one-hour loops for a total distance of 30 km.
Completion of AWT Ruislip qualifies runners for the subsequent races in the series, which extend to 12 hours and 24 hours respectively using the same format. The event is open to all ages. Runners should be comfortable maintaining a pace that allows them to cover 10 km in 59 minutes or less. Free parking is available at the venue.
