About Banbury 10K
The Banbury 10K takes runners on a single-lap journey through Oxfordshire's market town and surrounding countryside. Starting from central Banbury, the course heads west towards Broughton, passing through residential streets before opening onto more rural roads. The route gently undulates through Broughton village and back towards town on country lanes, blending urban and rural terrain without presenting a particularly demanding challenge.
Organised by Raceways Events on 5 September 2027, the race features electronic chip timing and live results, with marshals stationed throughout the closed-road course. A free 1K Kids' Fun Run takes place after the main event. The race is embedded in the local community, with spectators, volunteers, businesses and charities playing an active part in the day.
