About Barmouth 10k
Running in early June, the Barmouth 10K takes place on 12 June 2027 across a 10 km road course in the Gwynedd town of Barmouth. The race starts and finishes at Barmouth Harbour, following an out-and-back route that crosses the iconic Barmouth Bridge before joining the Mawddach Trail, a traffic-free path through North Wales.
The course is notably flat, making it popular with runners looking to chase personal bests. Along the way, participants experience views across the Mawddach Estuary and the surrounding mountains of Eryri. After the turnaround point on the trail, the route retraces itself back to the harbour finish.
