About Barrow Fell Race
Held within the grounds of an agricultural showfield near Keswick, the Barrow Fell Race takes runners over 4 miles of trail terrain with 425 metres of climbing. The event takes place on 31 August 2026, starting in the main show ring and finishing outside the showfield at Braithwaite.
Entry is available on the day only, with a minimum age of 15. Participants must carry full FRA minimum kit and a map (available to purchase on site). Team entries are welcome, with three counters required. The race will proceed regardless of whether the agricultural show takes place.
