About Bath 50 Ultra Challenge
The Bath 50 Ultra Challenge offers three trail distances—10 km, 29 km and 50 km—centred on the Charlcombe area in Somerset. Taking place on 20 March 2027, the looped routes pass through the surrounding countryside with a basecamp at the Charlcombe Inn.
All routes are fully signed and supported with GPS tracking via event app. Covered rest stops are positioned roughly every 12.5 km, with major stops approximately every 25 km offering snacks, drinks and catering. The 50 km distance includes a hot meal at the finish. Medical teams, podiatrists and massage facilities are available at rest stops, with a 24 hour control room coordinating safety and emergency support throughout the event.
