Bath's surrounding countryside provides the backdrop for this two-day off-road running event in November, held at the University of Bath. The programme spans day and night racing across multiple distances, alongside a dedicated canicross wave and a 500 metre children's fun run.
The courses traverse solid stone paths, woodland trails and open grass meadows, with puddles and muddy sections adding to the off-road character. Routes are largely flat with occasional small rises, and all are comprehensively marked and marshalled. Night races use glow sticks and reflective signage; runners taking part in the dark need to bring their own head torch. There are no cut-off times, though pure walkers are not permitted.
On-site facilities include toilets, a coffee van and bag drop. Water and a range of snacks—including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options—are available to finishers. Runners completing 5 km or longer receive an event medal.
