About Beachy Head Half Marathon
The South Downs National Park and East Sussex coast form the backdrop for this half marathon trail race. Starting from Dukes Drive in Eastbourne on 25 October 2026, the 13.1 mile route ventures into the National Park via Eastbourne Downs Golf Club and Friston village before turning towards the sea.
The course climbs and descends across open downland to tackle the Seven Sisters, one of the event's defining features, then passes Belle Tout Lighthouse before heading back towards Eastbourne and the finish at Dukes Drive. The off-road route combines substantial elevation changes with coastal vistas. Runners, joggers and walkers can all take part, with a four hour time limit.
