About Beat The Bell - 1 Mile to Ultra
Beat The Bell takes runners to the Wingham countryside near Canterbury on 16 August 2026, offering a choice of routes from 1 to 10 miles across a mix of road and trail terrain. Starting at the Anchor Inn at 11am, participants can run as many or as few routes as they wish, in any order they choose, with a 9pm cut-off.
The event is self-guided, with GPX files, maps, recce videos and course markings provided to help runners navigate. All finishers receive a medal. Parking is available in the village car park at St. Mary's Meadows and on surrounding roads; the No.43 bus from Canterbury Bus Station also serves the area. The run is held in aid of charity.
