About Beat the Tide 10Km
Beat the Tide is a 10 km trail race across the low-tide sands of Worthing and Shoreham beaches in West Sussex. Organised by Sussex Trail Events, the event takes place on 13 August 2026, starting and finishing at the Coast Cafe in Worthing. The course includes a single aid station at the 5 km point.
Parking is available throughout Worthing, with both car parks and on-street options near the start. The Coast Cafe provides toilet facilities, with additional public toilets on the Esplanade. Bag storage is available at the race location, and refreshments are served afterwards at the cafe.
