About Beautiful Bingley
Beautiful Bingley caters to trail runners seeking a sociable outing on accessible terrain. The event follows the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath just outside Bingley, offering a flat, even route with good underfoot conditions. An out-and-back format means runners know what to expect, with elevation only where canal locks punctuate the journey.
Six distances span from 5 km to the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles, all chip-timed and licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules. Feed and drink stations are positioned roughly every three miles, with the event operating a cup-less approach to reduce waste. The course is marshalled and signed throughout, and finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Registration and parking take place at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club on Wagon Lane, with the start and finish at Fishermans Pub Garden, about a ten minute walk away. Bingley train station lies approximately 1.5 miles from the start area. The event takes place on 12 June 2027.
