About Ben Nevis Race
Taking place on the first Saturday of September, the Ben Nevis Race returns to Fort William on 5 September 2026. The 14 km trail race starts at 1pm from Claggan Park and is limited to 600 competitors.
Entry is restricted to club members aged 18 and over. Participants must have completed a minimum of three Category AM hill races within the last five years, though exemptions may be considered in certain circumstances. Registration opens at 9am on race day, when competitors collect their race pack and bib number.
