About Besotted at Bingley
A 10 km trail run along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath near Bingley, this chip-timed event follows a mostly flat route with good underfoot conditions. The course includes the 3-rise and 5-rise locks as the only notable elevation changes, with marshals and signage guiding runners throughout and feed and drink stations placed approximately every three miles.
The race takes place on 20 February 2027, starting and finishing at the Fishermans Pub Garden in Bingley. Registration and parking are based at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club on Wagon Lane, from where participants walk to the start (about 10 minutes). Bingley train station is roughly 1.5 miles from the registration point. The event operates under Trail Running Association and UKA rules, with a cup-less policy at aid stations and a restriction on large over-ear headphones.
