About Bewl 15 Mile
On 4 July 2027, Wadhurst Runners hosts the Bewl 15 & 5 Mile races at Bewl Water in Wealden, East Sussex. Both events take runners over trail terrain combining footpaths, quiet country lanes and waterside sections around the reservoir.
The 15 mile route starts in Wadhurst and descends to join the reservoir loop, featuring gently undulating sections along the shore and a hillier stretch on quiet lanes. Runners have a four hour time limit. The 5 mile race is entirely off-road, following the longer course for approximately 2.5 miles before retracing its steps. The event supports the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex.
