BigHeat Trails (FIRE) forms part of the Classic Element Trail Series, taking place on 17 July 2027 at Tanners Lane, Waverley, in Surrey's rolling countryside. Runners can choose between a 16-mile or 50-kilometre trail route, both following dusty tracks, sun-baked forests and open sandy plains. The courses incorporate sections of The Serpent Trail and pass through notable Surrey Hills locations including Blackdown and The Temple of the Winds.
The event operates as a weekend festival with camping available on site, alongside an event village featuring food, drink and entertainment. Participants should carry at least 500ml of fluid and check the GPX route file before race day. Aid stations are positioned along the routes, and cut-off times apply to both distances.
