About BigSea Trails (WATER
BigSea Trails is the second event in the Classic Element Trail Series, taking place on 6 June 2027 on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. The 18 mile and 54 km trail races start and finish on Knoll Beach at Studland, looping through the Purbeck Hills and passing notable landmarks including Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Chapmans Pool, Dancing Ledge, Durlston Castle and Old Harry Rocks.
Runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid and are advised to download the GPX file for their route. Cut off times are five hours for the 18 mile distance and nine hours for the 54 km. Aid stations stock both sweet and savoury snacks (including vegan options), water and flat coke. Participants can opt for the Trees Not Tees scheme, having a tree planted in place of a finishers medal.
