About Bilsdale Show - Tripsdale Trot
Set in the North York Moors, the Tripsdale Trot forms part of the Bilsdale Show at Chop Gate on 29 August 2026. This fell race covers 8.9 km with 438 metres of climbing across trail terrain, making it suited to runners with some fell running experience.
Entry is available on the day only, with the event holding full FRA permit and UK Athletics insurance. Participants must be aged 18 or over for the main race. A separate Fun Fell Race of approximately 2.5 km also takes place at the same event, which has no age restrictions and offers a shorter option across similar moorland terrain.
