About Blackpit 10K
Taking place on 18 October 2026, Blackpit 10K and 5K is a trail running event organised by Ales and Trails at Blackpit Brewery near Silverstone in Northamptonshire. The multi-terrain courses start and finish near the brewery taproom, taking in private estate trails, woodland and bridleways across the surrounding landscape.
The 10K route features approximately 78 metres of elevation gain, while the 5K covers 39 metres. Both courses are undulating and runners and walkers have a two-hour cut-off to complete their chosen distance. A water refill station is available on course, though participants should carry their own cup as the event operates on a cupless basis.
Finishers receive a medal and pint cup, plus a Blackpit beer or soft drink at the brewery afterwards. Free downloadable race photography is included. The event supports Silver Star.
