About Blairgowrie Highland Games Hill Race
This trail race forms part of Blairgowrie and Rattray's annual Highland Games celebration in Perthshire. The 4.8 km course starts and finishes at Bogles Field, climbing via Essendy Road and Weasel Road onto the hillside above the town before runners complete two circuits of the upper field. The route then descends the same way back to the Games arena, concluding with a lap of the track in front of spectators.
Held on 6 September 2026, the race combines hill running with one of Scotland's well-known Highland Games events. The course is fully marked and offers entry on the day, with limited pre-registration also available.
