About Blencathra
Blencathra Fell Race demands capable navigators and fell runners who can handle challenging terrain. Taking place on 2 June 2027 in the Lake District near Mungrisdale, this 13 km race climbs 825 metres across open fell country. Runners should be comfortable with route-finding and prepared for the physical demands of sustained ascent.
Registration and parking take place at Low Beckside Farm, approached from the A66. Entry is available on the day only and is restricted to those aged 18 and over. Entrants are advised to bring their own map, as only a limited supply may be available at registration.
