About Blorenge Fell Race
Taking place on 28 November 2026, the Blorenge Fell Race is a 3.5-mile fell race based at Llanfoist Village Hall near Abergavenny in Monmouthshire. The route covers mostly low-lying moorland and open fell terrain, climbing 485 metres over the course and reaching approximately 600 metres at its highest point.
The trail is largely unmarked but follows obvious paths for much of the way, with one section where descent navigation may prove tricky—markers will be in place to help. Runners should expect moderately challenging tracks and good fell paths alongside some steep and technical sections. Navigation ability becomes important in poor visibility, and weather can significantly affect ground conditions. Registration opens from 10.30am, with a minimum age requirement of over 16.
