About BOFRA - Arncliffe Gala
The fell race takes runners on a challenging route starting from Arncliffe Village Green in North Yorkshire. The course climbs steeply from the village to a hilltop cairn before descending across sloping ground and returning along the outward track to finish on the green.
Taking place on 8 August 2026, the event forms a BOFRA Championship counter and offers two distances: a 1.6 mile option and a 4 mile route. Age categories range from Under 9 through to Seniors. A separate 4 mile road race is also held as part of the gala at Amerdale Hall.
