About BOFRA - Reeth Show
This trail race at the Reeth Show takes runners across open fields before ascending rough fellside terrain to Fremington Edge, where the route follows the ridge past old quarry workings before descending back towards the showfield. The 2-mile course includes 700 feet of climbing and incorporates a circuit of the show ring to finish.
The race takes place on Monday 31 August 2026 in Reeth, North Yorkshire, near the B6270 between Richmond and Kirkby Stephen. It serves as a BOFRA Championship counter with separate senior and junior routes, and age categories ranging from Under 9 to Senior level. The event has a long history, with archived results available from 1992 onwards.
