About BOFRA - Wasdale
BOFRA - Wasdale takes runners to the summit of Kirk Fell in the Lake District on Saturday 10 October 2026. The fell race covers 2.4 miles with 700 metres of climb, starting and finishing at Wasdale Head in West Cumbria.
Organised as a BOFRA Championship counter, the event welcomes competitors from Under 12 through to Senior level (minimum age 6), though entries are on the day only. Waterproof kit with taped seams is compulsory for all participants, with juniors needing a jacket and seniors also required to bring trousers, hat and gloves.
