About Boxing Day Run - Hindhead
Hindhead's Boxing Day Run has become a fixture in the local calendar, drawing runners to its 3.5 mile trail route across the commons on 26 December. The course takes in Gibbet Hill and the Devils Punch Bowl, starting and finishing at Cafe Twenty5, Waverley.
Three race categories are available: men's, ladies' and the Drinking Run, which features a pint of winter ale at the two-mile mark. Chip timing is provided, with run numbers sent by post ahead of the event. All profits go to Holy Cross Hospital. Parking around Hindhead with a walk to the start is an expected part of attending, as the National Trust car park becomes extremely busy.
