About Bridge Of Orchy 10K
A 10 km trail race through the Scottish Highlands, the Bridge of Orchy 10K takes runners on a tour of the West Highland Way landscape around Argyll and Bute. The fifth edition of the event, running on 1 November 2026, features a reversed course compared to previous years.
The route begins with a relatively flat road section skirting Loch Tulla and the Black Mount Estate, passing Inveroran Hotel before reaching Victoria Car Park as the turning point. From there, runners retrace their steps towards Inveroran and then branch onto the West Highland Way trail, where the terrain climbs before a final 2 km descent. The finish comes after crossing the Bridge of Orchy, with views of Beinn Achaladair, Beinn an Dothaidh and Beinn Dorain. Registration and facilities are based at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel. The event is a ScottishAthletics licensed race with a 125-runner limit.
