Brigg's Market Place is the setting for this 10K road race taking place on 25 October 2026, with two distinct ways to take on the same accurately measured, UKA licensed course. The standard Poppy Run follows flat, closed country roads designed for speed, while the Military Challenge covers the identical 10K route but requires runners to carry a weighted pack—36lb for men and 24lb for women—throughout the race.
Both events start and finish in the town centre and support the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal. The Poppy Run welcomes participants of all abilities, whether running, jogging or walking the distance.
