About Bronte Half Marathon
Taking place on 20 September 2026, the Bronte Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles of trail running through Bronte Country between Haworth and Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. The route is notably hilly and starts and finishes at Penistone Hill Country Park. Water stations and toilets are positioned along the course.
The event supports Sue Ryder and runs alongside the Bronte Bike Challenge, creating a mixed-sport atmosphere where runners share sections of the route with cyclists. Finishers receive a traditional pie and peas meal and a race memento.
