About Brynkinalt Running Festival
The Brynkinalt Running Festival brings trail running to the grounds of a private estate near Wrexham across two days in early March 2027. Runners can choose between 5 km and 10 km distances over varied terrain including fast footpaths, grass and stony sections, with some climbs offering views across the estate. Both canicross and standard running take place during the weekend event, with race headquarters based at Brynkinalt Hall.
The 5 km is open to runners aged 12 and above, while the 10 km is for those aged 16 and over. A water station sits approximately halfway along the longer route, with additional water points at the start and finish. Top three finishers in each gender category at both distances receive awards.
