About BTR Liverpool Santa Dash 5K & 1K Mini Dash
The BTR Liverpool Santa Dash transforms the city centre into a festive celebration each December. This 5K fun run starts on Canada Boulevard at the Pier Head, near the Royal Liver Building, and winds through Liverpool's landmarks including the Grade I listed Royal Albert Dock before finishing outside Liverpool Town Hall. The route is untimed with no time limit, so participants can run, jog or walk at their own pace.
The event is defined by its distinctive red and blue Santa suits, worn by thousands of runners who give the dash its festive character. For younger runners, a separate 1K Mini Dash takes place from Castle Street afterwards, open to children aged 12 and under with accompanying adults able to join in.
